  • Let the world - or at least your neighbors - know how proud you are of your graduate. This handsome yard sign measures 20" wide by 14.5" tall and includes wire stakes.

Buy a Chance to Win Reserved Seats for Graduation

  • Raffle Flyer PTSO is raffling off an opportunity for one graduate to receive VIP reserved seating for up to 10 of their guests.

    Raffle tickets cost $1 for one, $5 for six, or $10 for 15. Tickets will be sold at the following student events: Spring Musical (April 27-29); Jazz Concerts (May 2-3); Band Concerts (May 9-10); Choir Concert (May 17); Senior Honors Night (May 18); and Senior graduation practice (May 19).

    Winner will be announced May 19 following graduation practice.

PTSO Donates Basket for Dance Marathon

  • PTSO donated a basket to the raffle at the April 7 WAHS dance marathon, which attracted hundreds of students. The year-long fundraiser brought in $14,458.61 - 20% more than its goal - for the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. 

    PTSO Basket The PTSO basket included "We Are West" t-shirts; snacks and soda; gift cards for Chili's, Cinemark Theater, Taco Bell and Starbucks; and a coupon for four Colonial sundaes. Special thanks to Tamara Scott for assembling the basket.

Volunteers Needed For Prom After-Party!

  • We need adult volunteers for our after-prom party May 13-14! You don't need to be a PTSO member to help. 

    Six Flags (1) Six to eight adults (24 years and older) to chaperone the Great American Bus Trip. Chaperones get in free. You will accompany students on the bus to Great America at 10:30 pm May 13. While at Great America you will have access to all the rides, along with free food, movies and refreshments at designated chaperone areas. We will return to WAHS between 6 and 6:30 am on May 14. (Currently three buses are departing from the Q Center in St. Charles (prom location and one from the high school; we have student interest to add another bus.) Chaperones need to be at departure locations by 9:30 pm.

    (2) Three to four drivers to transport prom clothes from the Q Center to WAHS.
    Meet at the Q Center in St. Charles by 9:45 pm with your vehicle (SUVs preferred). Students assigned to you will give you their clothes (already in labeled garment bags) for placement in your vehicle. You take your vehicle to your home for the balance of the night and then return to WAHS early May 14 (6 am) to give clothing to students.
